Margaret Bowman

Margaret serves as Assistant Director for CoreFSU, bringing more than 30 years of experience in curriculum leadership, student success, assessment and accreditation, and organizational transformation. Prior to joining FSU, she held leadership positions at Tallahassee State College, St. Petersburg College, the Florida Department of Education, and in the private sector. At SPC, she helped lead a nationally recognized curriculum and advising redesign initiative that improved student retention, progression, and completion. As the inaugural Director of Transfer Services at TSC, she advanced transfer student success through process improvements, strategic partnerships, and enhanced student engagement. Margaret's work has been recognized by organizations including Achieving the Dream, the AACC Pathways Project, the Gates Foundation, Community College Daily, and the U.S. Department of Education. She holds a Master of Science degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.
